The school looks good but no way am I going to accept the car park and WHY ON EARTH do they need 40 spaces!! I know it's for two schools combined but 40!! They seriously need to rethink this idea and actually ask the residents. Also this is the first time I have heard anything about the design of the school and so far I am not happy. Please please actually include us (the residents) in the design process.
ReplyDeleteThe 40 spaces are based on the number of full time or equivalent part time staff members. Under BB99 the design guide for schools all full time staff should be able to park on the school site this is to ensure that no one needs to park on the street which would a greater disruption to the local area.
ReplyDeleteWe have tired our best to include residents in the design process there is an event this evening between 5 and 7pm at the Lynworth site to discuss the design.
